1,100 HP DODGE CHALLENGER BUILT BY PETTY’S GARAGE: VIDEO

And It’s Being Given Away

There has never been a better time to love horsepower than today. With the proper finances, one can walk into their local Dodge dealership and drive away in a 717 horsepower Challenger SRT Hellcat, or a 797 horsepower Hellcat Redeye muscle cars. While those numbers themselves would have seemed preposterous a few years ago, the fact that you can have all that power for less than $100,000 would have seemed impossible. But what if we told you you could get your hands on a Dodge Challenger with over 1,000 horsepower by simply filling out a form online?

In a video posted to MAHLE’s YouTube Channel, team members from Petty’s Garage begin construction of a 1,100 horsepower Petty-inspired Dodge Challenger that they will be giving away as a part of their “Drive with the Original” promotion. The supercharged Dodge has a number of MAHLE parts finding their way onto the cars Hemi V8, including pistons made from 2618 alloy, MAHLE gaskets, and a set of MAHLE oil, air, and fuel filters to keep the motor running contaminant free.

MAHLE’s “Drive with the Original” program began back on March 1st and runs through October 1st. The program is open to any service technician who uses MAHLE North America aftermarket parts. Four lucky finalists will be selected at random to receive a trip for two to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo in Las Vegas from November 5-7. Richard Petty himself will be there with his famous hat, inside of which will sit four sets of keys, one of which belong to the grand prize MAHLE Dodge Challenger built by Petty’s Garage.

In addition to the bonkers 1,100 horsepower Dodge Challenger, hundreds of additional prizes will be awarded to MAHLE technicians, including Richard Petty Driving Experiences, autographed Richard Petty signature cowboy hats, and autographed No. 43 die-cast model cars among others.

Petty’s Garage is located in Level Cross, North Carolina, and is known for their capability when it comes to making reliable power. The entire build process of this 1,100 horsepower 426 Hemi, as well as dyno testing and other highlights will be documented on the MAHLE Aftermarket NA YouTube channel up until the “Drive with the Original” program ends.

Information about entry and other details about the “Drive with the Original” can be found here. For more, check out the videos below and above:
