Power is a vital part of a vehicle, especially for car enthusiasts. It could mean the difference between having a ton of fun with the car you own or being bored out of your wits. If you’re a 2021-22 Ford F-150 owner with the 5.0L engine and you’ve found that you want to reach horsepower numbers closer to the Ram 1500 TRX. Look no further than the Whipple Supercharger kit that has just been made available through the Ford Performance Parts website.

2021-22 Ford F-150 Whipple Supercharger Kit: Details

Two Whipple Supercharger kits are available, one for the standard 5.0L engine and one for vehicles equipped with Pro Power Onboard. Both 3.0L superchargers bring the power output of the engines up to 700 horsepower at 6,500 RPM and 590 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 RPM. Each features the Whipple exclusive inverted twin-screw design and a patented dual pass intercooler. A Tomahawk calibration tool is included with the kit, and it fits both 4×2 and 4×4 vehicles.

The Whipple Superchargers have been engineered and tested to Ford 100k mile standards and come with a 3-year / 36k mile FPP warranty when installed by a Ford Dealer or ASE-certified technician. Customers will be required to fill their trucks up with Premium fuel after the installation, though that does come with its own benefits towards the performance of the vehicles. Each of the kits are CARB certified 50-state legal.

Part M-6066-F150SCA and M-6066-F150SCB will set customers back $9,500, but for performance that will allow for your truck to keep up with the Apex predator of trucks, that price might be worth it. Just be sure you purchase the suitable kit for your vehicle. That’s a hefty sum to pay and find out that it’s incompatible, and you have to wait even longer to have ludicrous levels of power under the hood of your truck.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
