THE 2021 CHEVROLET TAHOE CONFIGURATOR IS LIVE

The central pillar of GM’s new full size SUV lineup, the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe, is almost here, and the Chevy website has been updated with the model’s configurator. Before you waste some time playing around on it, here’s what you need to know.

Notably absent from the configurator is the base level LS model, which serves as the budget model in the lineup. It’s unclear why it isn’t on the configurator, but that makes the $55,095 LT Tahoe with rear wheel drive the cheapest model in the range. LT Signature and LT Luxury packages are also available for $5,085 and $2,820 respectively, and give a variety of options.

Stepping up to the Premier, starting at $63,895, gives you many optional extras on the LT. There are also some exterior styling changes, such as a new grille and wheels. Premier trim cars can option a Premium package for $4,485.

Adding four wheel drive is a $3,000 option on all models, and opens up the off-road oriented Z71 trim. It comes with slightly less equipment than the Premier, but at a lower price with unique exterior design and off-road components.

Also missing from the configurator is the sporty looking RST model, as a trim or package. Like the LS trim, it’s unclear where this is or why it’s missing. Hopefully it’s added back once production is up and running smoothly.

Topping out the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe range is the all-new High Country model. This is the most luxurious Tahoe you can get, adding unique exterior and interior trim styling. It comes with the 6.2 liter V8 and magnetic ride control; neither are available on lower trim models. With the High Country, buyers can option the same trailering packages as the other models, and a $4,605 Premium pack.

Across the range are a variety of paint colors, with two being additional cost. All models, except for the Z71, have an impressive 10 wheel options to truly customize the all-new Tahoe.

Overall, the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe has a massive array of trim levels, packages and options, even with two trims missing. While this can add a bit of confusion, buyers can know they can truly customize their SUV to have all the features they want. With all of the benefits of the redesigned model, this looks to be a compelling option in the full size SUV space.
