Last September, Ford announced that the Ranger Splash Package would be returning for the 2022 model year with limited-time-only colors that would drop every couple of months. Now, we get a closer look at what the limited edition colors will be with Ford’s most recent announcement. New 2022 Ranger Splash Limited Edition colors include the Snow Edition, Forest Edition, and Sand Edition. Pricing for all of the Splash Packages will be $1,495 MSRP regardless of the hue.
2022 Ford Ranger Splash Package: Details
The Snow Edition will be the first limited-run offering for the 2022 Ford Lariat Ranger Splash. The exterior paint color has been named Avalanche and is enhanced by Magnetic accents and Avalanche grille nostrils. The Ranger Splash Snow Edition interior features unique ebony leather-trimmed seats with Ash Gray accent stitching and carbon weave tuxedo stripes and bolsters. Lastly, additional black accents highlight the interior. The Snow Edition vehicles will have a limited run with around 750 Splash vehicles to be sold. The target availability will be in Spring 2022.
Next, is The 2022 XLT Ranger Splash named the Forest Edition, which is expected to be available in the Summer of 2022. The Package features a Forged Green exterior paint color paired with Magnetic accents and red grille nostrils. The interior of the Forest Edition features ebony cloth seats rather than leather-trimmed like in the Snow Edition and Ash Gray accent stitching. This edition also has carbon weave tuxedo stripes and bolsters, with black accents highlighting the interior. Ford plans on cutting down the run for this color scheme with only around 500 Splash Forest Edition vehicles to be sold.
The last 2022 Ford XLT Ranger Splash Package edition will be the Sand Edition. The Package’s exterior will feature Desert Sand paint color enhanced by Magnetic accents and red grille nostrils. The interior is the same as the Forest Edition with ebony cloth seats, Ash Gray accent stitching, carbon weave tuxedo stripes and bolsters, and black accents. Ford only plans to produce 500 of the Sand Edition vehicles, and they are expected to be available in Fall 2022.
