The 2023 Corvette Z06 has been a hot topic for a long time. An enormous amount of information on the vehicle has been released since its official announcement last October. However, pricing information has remained quite elusive until now. The 2023 Corvette Z06 will not only be more expensive than we initially thought for Americans but carry an even higher price tag in Canada. The current exchange rate is $1.29 CAD for every US dollar. However – if you’re an American that can somehow buy a Z06 in Canadian dollars and ship it to the ‘states, you might be able to save some money.
The pricing guide for the 2023 Corvette Z06 has been unveiled by GM and while the American supercar will carry a max price of $160,000 USD in the ‘States, Canada will be nearly $25,000 more expensive. Pricing for the 2023 Z06 (including destination of $2,298) starts at $128,198 CAD for the base model 1LZ in Canada according to Driving. That’s $99,574 USD. As a reminder, the new Z06 is priced from $106,395 USD in the United States. So as far as the foreign exchange rate is concerned, the mid-engined supercar is arguably more affordable in Canada compared to the USA.
A step up from that, the 2LZ coupe comes in at $138,198 CAD and the 3LZ starts at $144,198 CAD. If you want a convertible, just tack on another $9,000 CAD to each of those starting prices.
If you want to take advantage of any packages or special items like Carbon Fiber wheels, you better fire up the checkbook. The Carbon Aero package consists of a Z07 splitter, dive planes, rockers, and spoiler but also adds on an additional $4,594 CAD for visible Carbon Fiber. If you want the look but not the price of actual Carbon Fiber you can take advantage of the Carbon Fiber flash-painted version for $3,444 CAD.
On top of that, you can still add more, because why not? Also available on the Z06 is the Z07 package that adds to the aforementioned Carbon Aero package but also adds FE7 suspension, Michelin Pilot Cup tires, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and underbody strakes for an additional $10,344 CAD. Should you want to cut the overall weight of your Z06 you can add on carbon fiber wheels for 13,794 or opt for the cheaper carbon flash-painted for just $11,494 CAD. All in all the most decked out 2023 Corvette Z06 in Canada will cost about $172,930 CAD before taxes, or $134,318 USD. Considering that the most loaded Z06 will come in just shy of $160,000 USD in the ‘States, that’s quite the discount.
