The vehicle is powered by a bespoke 6.2-liter V8 engine topped with a 3.0-liter supercharger, pushing out 1,025 hp on E85 fuel. With its unique suspension setup for the drag strip and set of Mickey Thompson tires, 0-60 is under 2 seconds. Even faster than a Tesla Model S Plaid. As for the exterior, the car’s appointed with rear body flares, an SRT Performance spoiler, and High-Intensity Discharge headlamps.
Unfortunately, the Dodge Challenger Demon 170 is already banned by the NHRA thanks to dominating the quarter-mile with a certified 8.91 seconds ET at 151.17 mph. As for the particular car that’ll be sold at auction, well, it’s pretty unique as the winning bidder will be able to select from all factory options offered and have the exclusive opportunity to choose a custom exterior paint color to make this Demon 170 one-of-one and stand out above all the others.
