If you’ve been waiting to order a 2023 Jeep Gladiator, the time has come. As of early Wednesday morning the 2023 Jeep Gladiator order books have been opened up. The 2022 model still remains active on the price and build tool for the time being but is likely to change in the coming days.
According to Kent, also known as “12psi” on the JeepGladiatorForum, the 2023 model year Gladiator is ready for order. In his post, he shares the following color options are also available; Black, White, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Hydro Blue, Sarge Green, Silver Zinyth, and Sting Gray. The attractive Gobi color was not mentioned as an available option, nor was Earl Gray or Reign (purple) both of which have been recently made available to order with the Wrangler. The 2023 Wrangler build and price tool is live now subsequently.
News of the order books opening comes shortly after hearing that both the Wrangler and Gladiator models will be given limited edition treatment for their respective 2023 models by way of the Freedom package. The limited edition package gives tribute to America’s servicemen and women, and features military themed interior and exterior upgrades on top of the company donating $250 to military charities for each edition sold.
If you’re super anxious to get your hands on a 2023 Jeep Gladiator, MC&T reported earlier this year that Jeep is offering a tracking system for those with an order through an online portal albeit users say it isn’t 100% accurate but not far off either.
When the build and price tool does go live, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the same power plants from 2022 carry over to the new year. The fantasy of having a plug-in hybrid or fully electric Gladiator seems to be on the horizon but still a little out of reach. The dream of owning a Gladiator 392 or diesel powered off-roader also seems unlikely but we won’t know for sure until Jeep’s website gets updated. For now we’re expecting to see the standard 3.6L Pentastar V6.
