Nothing Too Crazy, However.

2024 Easter Jeep Safari Concepts

Jeep is hosting the 58th annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, with four new, eye-catching, mission-capable concept vehicles. We’ve already examined the Low Down and Dispatcher Concepts; now, let’s examine the Gladiator High Top and Wagoneer Vacationeer. Indeed, Jeep continues to execute on debuting fun and playful concepts for the annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari, but it’s also clear that the ongoing effects of the New Malaise Era are pulling resources into more critical business motives at Stellantis.

Jeep Gladiator Rubicon High Top Concept: Details

The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon High Top concept reflects the drive of the JPP design and engineering teams from Mopar to push the performance boundaries of the midsize truck. Off-road ride clearance is improved with JPP flat fender flares at all four corners. The concept has also been equipped with Dana 60 front and rear axles with matching 5.38:1 gearing and an AccuAir adjustable air suspension, which makes it easy to work on any serious off-road excursions. Bold Ginger Snap metallic exterior with retro-inspired two-tone graphics helps grab attention, and with the truck riding on massive 40×13.5 R18 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires mounted on 18-by-9-inch Satin Black KMC Grenade Crawl beadlock wheels its got excellent traction.

The front bumper has been modified from American Expedition Vehicles and features a custom protective hoop sitting just above a Warn winch. Rock rail power steps from Rock Slide Engineering protect the undercarriage and help provide easy entry and exit from the cabin. A DECKED truck bed storage system offers additional lockable cargo through dual sliding drawers. On the inside, the seats have been trimmed with custom quilted and perforated tan and black Alea leather, and the headrests feature an embossed JPP logo.

Jeep Wagoneer Vacationeer Concept: Details

Last but certainly not least is the Jeep Wagonner Vacationeer Concept. Featuring a Spearminted exterior and a custom-trimmed and expanded interior space. The JPP design team added nostalgic touches to the vehicle to quench the desire of many classic Jeep aficionados, with unique bodyside woodgrain graphics that harken back to Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models.

Ready for any challenging excursion that it might face, 35-inch BFGoodrich mud-terrain tires, wrapped around 18-by-9-inch bead grip 701 Method racing wheels, provide a natural 1.5-inch lift for superior off-road performance. Front and rear skid plates protect the underbody, while a front-mounted Warn winch addresses difficult off-road obstacles. At the front of the white, Rhino-lined roof, three 11-inch TYRI LED lights provide added forward lighting for when the sun goes down. Affixed to the roof of the Vacationeer concept is a custom, carbon-fiber RedTail Overland Skyloft – a climate-controlled oasis with sleeping space for two and enough windows to soak in the views.

The second- and third-row seats have been removed from the inside to accommodate the Skyloft. The Jeep brand turned to renowned fashion designer and Wagoneer enthusiast Kiel James Patrick for the front Tupelo leather seats, which draw inspiration from classic Jeep vehicles in a distinctive and charming New England-inspired pattern.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
