Ram is giving its 1500 pickups a refresh for the 2025 model year, with the updates underway at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. And the brand has updated its website to include the refreshed pickups in its Build & Price Configurator. It doesn’t take much effort to increase the price of these pickups by simply clicking a few option boxes, but that’s how it goes.
2025 Ram 1500 Configurator: Details
If you aim to get a 2025 Ram 1500 on a budget, the two-wheel-drive Tradesman Sport with a Quad Cab 6-foot, 4-inch bed will be the way to go. This trim has a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with an eTorque mild-hybrid system under the hood. When adding the Sport Appearance Package, the vehicle receives a chrome R-A-M text grille, body-color front bumper, rear bumper, and grille, front LED fog lamps, and 20-inch x 9-inch aluminum wheels. This combination ensures the truck is good-looking while offering a cloth bench seat, front and rear floor mats, and a rear power-sliding window since the Tradesman Level 1 Package is required with the Sport option. When choosing a color option that costs nothing extra, the truck can be priced at $45,165, including destination.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the most expensive configuration with the configurator is a 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten Crew Cab 4×4 with a 5’7″ bed. We equipped the truck with the most expensive paint job, Ivory White Tri-Coat Pearl-Coat, which costs around $795; following that we added the Chrome Power-Fold Trailer-Tow Mirrors, All-Terrain Tires, Multi-Function Tailgate, Ram Tow-Assist, Bed Utility Group, and Towing Technology Group. The tires require the Off-Road package, while the tow-assist package adds the Trailer Tow package. As we previously covered, the 3.0L I6 Hurricane HO engine is the standard option for the Tungsten. We also added the Engine Block Heater and On-Board Power System, bringing the total, most expensive configuration of the 2025 Ram 1500 to $96,470, including the $1,995 destination charge.
