The Ford Bronco has always had a loyal following, but it gained an even stronger cult classic status when Ford announced it’s return back in 2017. That’s let to the rise in popularity in modifying classic Broncos more than ever before, and one of the best in the game is Maxlider Bronco. They move 80-100 custom modified classic Broncos a year, but with the introduction of the new Bronco, they are expanding their business to the new model. Their latest project is the Ford Bronco Midnite Edition, and it’s a throwback to the 90s.
In 1992 and 1992, Ford offered the Bronco with a Nite Edition. It gave a stealthy blacked out look, something that could be considered ahead of its time. Maxlider wants to channel the spirit of that fourth and fifth generation Ford Bronco with their Midnite Edition, and based off their renderings, it looks fantastic. The Bronco gets a blacked out appearance with a silver side stripe that harkens back to the peak 90s teal and purple stripe on the Nite Edition. While neither of the renderings use that original color scheme, we would imagine Maxlider’s custom capabilities would allow you to have it. We encourage you to do so.
But they aren’t just an appearance package, either. The Maxlider Ford Bronco Midnite Edition gets a BDS Suspension and Fox lift kit. The increased ride height gives better capability, and a more imposing look. Based on the two renderings, buyers can also choose their desired wheel, tire, grille and bumper options.
Given Maxlider Motors’ reputation in the Bronco world, they are a Ford authorized drop ship location. This means your Ford dealer can have the SUV shipped directly to Maxlider for the build to begin. The Midnite Edition will be available in two or four door configuration, and Maxlider is now taking $500 deposits for the vehicle. They are yet to give a final price, but no matter what it ends up at, there’s no denying this is a great looking take on the new Bronco.
