FORD IS ABOUT TO DEBUT SOMETHING TOMORROW – WHAT COULD IT BE?

Carbon Fiber? Mustang? Raptor R?

ford cryptic messages

Ford has released a number of cryptic messages on its online media sites as well as a date, suggesting that something big could be dropping soon. Speculation is that it could be anything from an S650 Ford Mustang teaser to a Ford F-150 Raptor R reveal, but with the Ford Performance brand not participating in these teasers, we’re not entirely sold on either of those presumptions.

Update: It’s a Ford Mustang Black Accent Package, but it needs a better name.

The brand posted across Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram images, videos, and words that are both confusing and intriguing, leaving us completely in the dark about what to expect. It all started with a tweet by the brand that read “some of our favorite emojis lately” and then circle, pawn, square, hole, spade, glasses, x. That’s definitely a cipher if we’ve ever seen one, but unfortunately, we can’t figure this one out. Other than all of them are dark, black, and usually signify some sort of moody undertone.

On Instagram, the brand changed its blue oval logo to the prancing horse, so maybe the reveal will have something to do with the Mustang, or possibly the Mach E.

Finally, the brand teased a video on its Facebook page (embedded below) with the date 6.1.22 using a flowing fabric, which appears to be a carbon fiber weave. With the date set for June the 1st, we won’t have to wait long until we get an answer to the riddle.

All signs are pointing to some kind of carbon fiber Mustang with a bunch of symbols all over it, it’s all greek to us. Carbon fiber is the material of choice for a performance vehicle, however, so we’re likely going to see something fairly exciting.

The 2024 Mustang isn’t set to drop until at least 2023, so it’s not likely that we’ll be getting a glimpse of that just yet. Ford has plenty of other vehicles that are hotly anticipated, however, so it could be one of those.

Could it be an electric Mustang variant, a high-performance F-150 Raptor R, or something completely new entirely? We can’t wait, just like all the people in the comments complaining about not receiving their new vehicle orders from Ford.
