The GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 has recently debuted. While it offers customers several exciting features, reservations have already been filled, which means those interested will have to opt for a different trim. Unfortunately, customers aiming to get their hands on the Elevation or AT4 models of the new electric truck will have to wait until the 2025 model year for production to begin.
GMC Sierra EV Elevation And AT4: Details
Though GMC hasn’t revealed much information on the Sierra EV AT4 and Elevation, we know that the Elevation will be the lowest trim level and will feature a starting price of around $50,000. Standard features include the 16.8-inch Diagonal Center Touch-Screen, 18″ wheels with 33″ tires wrapped around them. The truck also features High Definition surround Vision, eTrunk with Power-operated Hood, and MultiPro Tailgate. In addition, customers can opt to add the 800-Volt DC Fast Charge, MultiPro MidGate, Power Station Pro, Super Cruise, and a Spray-on Bedliner.
As for the GMC Sierra EV AT4 model, it’s expected to begin production in late 2024 and includes all the standard features found on the Elevation trim with the addition of 35″ All-Terrain Tires. In addition, GMC has also given the AT4 2 inches of additional ground clearance, 4-wheel steering, Crab Walk, Terrain Mode, Super Cruise, and a spray-on bedliner. The addition of 4-wheel steering and Crab Walk should do wonders to improve the truck’s off-road capability. As for features that are available to add to the AT4, customers can opt for the 800-Volt DC Fast Charge, the Midgate, Power Station Pro, and the Panoramic Fixed Glass Roof.
Pricing for the Sierra EV AT4 hasn’t yet been revealed, though with the base Elevation trim coming in at around $50,000, we can expect the AT4 to be above that, but not topping the range. That would be the role of the Sierra EV Denali, the highest trim after the Edition 1. The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 will kick off GMC’s new electric truck launch in Spring 2024.
