JEEP GLADIATOR AND WRANGLER HIGH ALTITUDE EDITIONS ARE ALL STREET STYLE

The New Premium Package Will Be Available On The Wrangler and Gladiator Models

JL Jeep Wrangler High Altitude

The Jeep brand has been on a tear recently, offering more special editions and trim packages seemingly every day as of late. We’ve seen everything from style packages like the North Edition Jeeps on up to performance machines like the Rubicon Recon, but it seems that FCA isn’t done yet. Now, the brand synonymous with off-road performance has unveiled the Gladiator and Wrangler High Altitude trim package.

The High Altitude models are intended to be the most luxurious examples available for both the Wrangler and the Gladiator, without sacrificing the capability that either vehicle possesses when the road ends. The changes start with the exterior, where you’ll find that the hardtop, fender flares, the front and rear bumpers, the door handles, exterior mirrors and the tailgate handle will receive a body-color treatment.

The Gladiator and Wrangler High Altitude models will also feature a set of new gloss black 20-inch wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza all-season rubber, a first for either model. The daytime running lamps, front fog lamps, reflector headlamps and tail lamps are also all LED units. There are also running boards with an integrated step, and a High Altitude exclusive matte black Trail Rated badge to finish off the look.

Stepping inside, the High Altitude Jeeps will also boast a nicely appointed leather interior offered in Black and Steel Gray, featuring a leather-wrapped dashboard, center console and door panels. The seats are finished in high-quality Nappa leather, with a quilted pattern.

Furthermore, the High Altitude package brings a full suite of premium technology features, such as the 8.4-inch Uconnect display with Alpine premium audio, GPS navigation, automatic high-beam headlamp control, 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, remote proximity keyless entry, Blind-spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Path detection and the ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines.

The Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler High Altitude models will be available in a number of colors, including Billet Silver, Black, Bright White, and Granite Crystal. The Gladiator models will also be available in Gobi, while the Wrangler gets its own exclusive color by way of Ocean Blue exterior paint. Snazzberry will be available later on for both models.

At this time there is no pricing information available for the High Altitude package for either Jeep model, though expect more information to come as FCA prepares to stock showrooms by the second quarter of 2020.
