JEEP’S NEW WIPER BLADES CLEAN MORE, SQUIRT LESS

Don’t Be Afraid To Get Dirty

Jeep Wiper Blades

Jeep has unveiled a new high-performance wiper blade for the JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator that uses less fluid and reduces “blind” seconds. The innovative feature of the wipers is 12 laser-cut holes along the length of the blade that dispense the wiper fluid evenly, ensuring that there is across the entire blade for a better clean. Even though there are more holes, the blades use less wiper fluid than a standard nozzle because there is less need to dispense it more than once.

The net effect of the new blades means that “blind” seconds are virtually eliminated, which makes driving safer and easier. It makes sense for Jeep to debut something like this, after all, owners love to splatter mud and dirt all over their vehicles.

“Our new, innovative JPP performance wiper blades quickly restore visibility while tackling the toughest trails by keeping the washer fluid where it belongs – on the glass,” said Mark Bosanac, North America senior vice president, Mopar service, parts and customer care. “Perfect for off-road or on-road driving, our new ultra-capable wiper blades are just one of the more than 500 quality-tested, factory-backed parts and accessories in our Jeep portfolio.”

The JPP performance wiper kit (Mopar part number PW100013AB) is available now in the U.S. and Canada for 2018 and up model-year Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models.

Sold as a kit for $140, the box contains arms, blades and tubing for initial installation, as well as one set of replacement blades. The standard nozzle is disabled in favor of the blade-mounted dispenser.

The kit is available on the Mopar e-Store, and will soon be available in other markets in addition to North America.
