Leave it to Ye, aka Kanye West, to allegedly shatter a record for a Ford F-150 Raptor sold at auction. The American Rapper, entrepreneur, and producer sold his fleet of Ford trucks and SUVs earlier this week at an auction in Wyoming for a combined total of $434,780.

Kanye West is no stranger to doing things big and making a lot of noise (or music) with whatever he does. There seems to be no exception to this even when it comes to selling off his Ford trucks he used to have at the ready at his Monster Lake ranch in Wyoming. The truck fleet consisted of seven total Ford vehicles: three Raptors, two Super Duty trucks, and two Expeditions.
The most expensive truck sold was a 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor for $86,900, which included a 10% buyer premium. TMZ, very much not a car outlet, reports that it’s the most expensive Raptor ever sold at an auction, but that seems like quite the lofty claim. But it’s quite the price either way.
To put it in perspective, a base model 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor will cost you $64,495, or $22,405 less than a semi-used Kanye West edition. To be fair, Kanye’s old truck was in “like-new” condition and sports a unique CK Fab front bumper. Upon investigating the MB auction site pictures, it appears Kanye had the originally blue Ford Raptor wrapped in Matte Black and sported method wheels.
A 2016 Ford F-350 4×4 Lariat Crew Cab which was the cheapest of the bunch, selling for $39,250. The auction company Musser Bros. Auctions told TMZ that the auction was one of the biggest the company has ever seen, yielding 137,000 views and 800 bids from all over the country. Kanye’s most expensive Raptor had just under 23,000 miles on it and obtained over 150 bids. The Raptor utilizes the 3.5L EcoBoost V6 that produces 450 horsepower.
Kanye sold his Montana ranch, and is said to be making the move to Malibu California.
