MAGNAFLOW LAUNCHES T1 CHEVY TAHOE, SUBURBAN, GMC YUKON PERFORMANCE EXHAUST

Give Your 2021+ GM SUV A Boost In The Sound Department

2021 Chevrolet Suburban

Some of General Motors’ biggest money makers are their full size SUVs, namely the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, as well as the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL. For 2021, they were completely redesigned, featuring a massively improved platform and interior, plus fresh exterior looks. But one thing that still managed to stick around is the V8 engine that lies under the hood. And one of the major benefits of a V8 is the mellifluous sound that comes from the engine and exhaust. Understandably, some owners want to turn up the volume, and MagnaFlow have just launched their new lineup of cat-back performance exhausts for the GM T1 SUV family.

MagnaFlow had to come up with several exhaust offerings for the new Chevy Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon. The SUVs have two V8s on offer, and different trim levels have distinct exhaust outlets. First up, take a listen to the MagnaFlow exhaust for the base-level 5.3L L84 V8, on Tahoe models with a single exit exhaust:

The exhaust certainly has a more aggressive sound than standard, and we especially like the burbles that come out when you let off the gas. Inside, it’s louder but not obnoxious to passengers. If you’d like to listen to the 5.3L V8 MagnaFlow exhaust on the Chevy Suburban or GMC Yukon XL, click here. If you’d like to listen to the exhaust on models with quad exit exhausts, click here for Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon, and click here for long wheelbase Suburban and Yukon XL models.

The biggest hitter of the Chevy Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon range is the 6.2L L87 V8. It’s only available on the top of the line High Country and Denali models from Chevy and GMC respectively. Here, it produces 420 hp and 460 ft-lb of torque. Just like the 5.3L V8 exhaust, the MagnaFlow cat-back gives a more aggressive but never obnoxious tone. Take a listen below:

All of the new MagnaFlow exhausts for the Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Suburban, GMC Yukon and GMC Yukon XL are available now, with prices ranging between $1,000 and $1,500 depending on model and engine. All are made of entirely stainless steel with 3 inch main tubing diameter, and claim to have no drone at highway speed. If you want more sound out of your new GM SUV, MagnaFlow has you covered.
