The Event Is Scheduled For August 13

Roadkill Nights Returns For 2022

One of the best automotive events in America is back. Roadkill Nights Powered by Dodge has been scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2022. And like before, the event will be highlighted by street-legal drag racing on Woodward Avenue, taking place at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan.

Roadkill Nights 2022: Event Details

The announcement opens another garage door of the Dodge Never Lift Campaign, which provides a 24-month road map to the brand’s performance future. Roadkill Nights was first held in 2015, at that time in the shadow of the (abandoned) Pontiac Silverdome, before eventually migrating to the upscale M1 Concourse – a facility with private garages, test track, event center, and all the space required to everything Dodge wants to do. In addition to legal street racing, Roadkill Nights 2022 will feature a full slate of fan activities, including the return of the Dodge thrill and drift rides, Dodge driving simulators, a classic and modern muscle car show, and much more. In 2021, more than 38,000 car enthusiasts attended Roadkill Nights.

Additionally, Dodge Direct Connection Grudge Race competitors will use Direct Connection parts to build their own drag-race machine under a tight deadline before bringing it to Woodward to compete head-to-head on the strip. Direct Connection parts available as “building blocks” for competitors will include the Hellcrate Redeye 6.2L Supercharged crate Hemi engine and a plug-and-play Hellcrate Redeye 6.2L Engine Control Unit (ECU).

Dodge Power Broker-dealers, the exclusive source for Direct Connection performance parts with staff trained to deliver a performance-focused customer service experience, will work with competitors to provide the Direct Connection parts. The full lineup of Dodge Direct Connection Grudge Race competitors will be announced next month.

Roadkill Nights is an event produced by Roadkill, a brand of MotorTrend Group, with a hit show that delivers a one-of-a-kind taste of “Automotive Chaos Theory” on MotorTrend+ or MotorTrend TV. Tickets and additional information can be obtained from the MotorTrend website.
