If you’re the proud owner of a Ford Bronco with a 2.7L EcoBoost Engine, then you’ll be excited to learn that Roush has just made their Level 1 Performance Pac for the Bronco available for purchase. Only available for the 2.7L, the package will boost the engine’s power output by 40 horsepower and 70 lb-ft of torque over the stock engine, bringing totals to 370 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. That’s nearly Bronco Raptor levels of horsepower, and even more torque. Not bad.

The Roush Ford Bronco Performance Pac provides a high-performance throttle and boosts mapping for increased power and throttle response throughout the RPM range. However, auto start/stop gets disabled through calibration, which may benefit some people who may find the function annoying. With the assistance of the package, airflow is also improved, and intake restriction is reduced over stock.

The air filter is a high-flow, washable, reusable one that doesn’t require oiling. The Cold Air Kit features an engineered transparent lid that maintains factory water fording capability and adds to the aesthetic of the engine bay. The Roush Performance Pac Level 1 offers thrilling performance and provides peace of mind with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited powertrain warranty. The software installation is designed to be simple, while Roush used OEM CAD data to develop the intake, ensuring the fitment is perfect.

The Roush Ford Bronco Performance Pac Level 1 costs $999.99, and it’s also important to note that if your vehicle is outfitted with larger wheel and tire packages, the power results may differ. That being said, improved power with larger tires has its own benefits.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Ford Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
