S650 FORD MUSTANG GT AND DARK HORSE HEADING TO EUROPE

Bigger Mirrors And All

In case you live in a cave, let us remind you that Ford has debuted seventh-generation Mustang for the world to see. And it’s ripe with an assortment of new features, tech, and increased power. While it evolves from the S550 Mustang, the new S650 Mustang takes a step toward the future. Luckily, North America won’t be the only country that enjoys the iconic pony car as it’s set to arrive in Europe, as well.

Fresh images show off the European-spec models of the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse as well as the Coyote V8-powered 2024 Mustang GT. As is pointed out, the mirrors appear to be larger, and it looks like the white taillights will remain, compared to the red ones we get in North America. One would think, however, that with Europe’s heavy-handed emissions laws when it comes to cars (the yachts of billionaires are a different story, however), that Ford would make sure to include the 2.3L EcoBoost engine for the new Mustang sold across the pond. Turns out that won’t be the case, however. The fourth-generation Coyote V8 will reign supreme, though the EU may see a power drop compared to the North American version, as is the case currently. The 2024 Ford Mustang GT and Dark Horse are expected to arrive in Europe in late 2023. USA production will begin summer 2023.

2024 Ford Mustang: Details

The new Coyote V8 within the S650 Ford Mustang GT is set to deliver the most naturally aspirated horsepower of any Mustang GT before it, thanks to an innovative dual air intake box and dual-throttle body design. In addition, the new design helps minimize induction loss by enabling higher air flow rates. However, exact power output figures have not yet been revealed. For an even more performance-oriented muscle car, the 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse will be the pony of choice.

Under the hood of the all-new Ford Mustang Dark Horse sits the most potent Coyote V8 engine, targeting 500 horsepower. In addition, the Dark Horse comes standard with a unique six-speed Tremec manual transmission with a standard 3D-printed titanium shift ball. The Dark Horse also gets its own unique transmission oil cooler. And for those that want it a little easier, a 10-speed automatic transmission is also available.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
