With the debut of the Ram 1500 TRX taking place just hours from now, nobody would blame you for thinking that FCA would be taking a break from uploading more teasers. Not only is this not the case, but their newest teaser video actually gives us all a look at the Hellcat-powered pickup for the first time.
This latest clip uploaded to the Ram Trucks YouTube channel is called “It Does”, and once again features a massive cloud of sand kicked up by a Ram 1500 TRX. The teaser begins with an announcer stating “It does 0 to 60 in…” before the roar of the supercharged 6.2L V8 interrupts him. It’s at this point, at a little over three seconds into the clip, where we are treated to our first uncovered look at the Ram 1500 TRX as it disappears out of frame.
We may only see the new truck for a brief moment, but it is enough for us to say the TRX looks a lot like the spy photos that have been making the rounds. We can clearly see the flared fenders on the truck’s haunches, as well as its commanding stance. The Ram 1500 TRX looks mean and ready to hunt for Ford Raptors.
There also may be something to do with the timing of that loud, interruptive exhaust crack during this latest teaser. From the time the video starts until that moment, just under four seconds have gone by. This could be FCA’s way of hinting at the Ram 1500 TRX’s acceleration figure, especially when you consider the caption of the video is “seeing is believing.”
That said, we won’t have to wait much longer to learn the full list of Ram 1500 TRX performance figures. You can tune in to watch the live stream debut event at noon EDT on either Facebook or YouTube.
