2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat: Details

The 2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat loses nothing in its rebirth, fueled by the supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi Hellcat V8 engine that produces 710 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque. The Durango SRT Hellcat has numbers to back up its performance claims, accelerating from 0 to 60 in just 3.5 seconds and with a quarter mile of 11.5 seconds with a top speed of 180 mph. It’s the perfect SUV for the muscle car enthusiast with a family. If towing is something you may need to do, the Durango Hellcat has you covered with the ability to tow 8,700 pounds.

The 2023 Dodge Durango Hellcat inherits distinct Dodge DNA with bold styling, including a front fascia featuring a chin splitter, engine oil cooler duct, air guide, and snorkel for cold air induction. The rear spoiler provides better aerodynamics and a significant measure of rear downforce of 140 lbs at 180 mph. Durango’s profile includes LED low/high headlamps, LED daytime running lamp signatures, and a sculpted hood and grille. SRT Hellcat fender badges are also located on the Durango to ensure people know that this isn’t just any SUV.

On the inside, the driver-oriented cockpit is refined with a high-tech layout, featuring an available 10.1-inch touchscreen angled 7 degrees towards the driver. In addition, red-accented gauges and standard heated and ventilated Nappa leather with suede front seats and an embroidered SRT logo are unique to the SRT Hellcat. Orders for the 2023 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat will open in September 2022, and is scheduled to arrive in dealerships in early 2023.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
