The 2023 Ford F-150 FX4 Rattler is the off-road pickup truck for the people. It comes in exclusively at the entry-level XL trim, making it the most affordable F-150 off-road truck option people can buy. But, how much will the package actually cost? 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler: Details

On page 4 of the price list, or by pressing CNTRL + F and typing “Rattler,” we can see that the suggested retail price for the Ford F-150 Rattler Package is $1,495, which is quite the bargain but not at all surprising considering that this package is intended to be affordable. Based on the baseline F-150 XL trim level, featuring FX4 skid plates, an electronic rear-locking differential for enhanced traction, hill descent control, specially tuned off-road shock absorbers, all-terrain tires, a dual exhaust system, painted 18-inch aluminum wheels and unique “Rattler” badging on the fender vents and rattlesnake-inspired graphics. On the inside, the 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler features darkened Onyx seats with bronzed accents and unique stitching that seems to riff the Tremor.

It’s a simpler truck, but a few options must be checked before the Rattler package is fully unlocked. This includes the SuperCab configuration (as opposed to the base single cab), the XL High package, the optional center console, and an upgraded powertrain. The Rattler package is just $400 more than the FX4 package, which is a good deal. Customers will likely spend close to the mid $40,000 range with everything required to equip the package. But compared to the Tremor and Raptor, that’s a significantly cheaper route to take that your bank account will likely thank you for.

Production is expected to commence this fall, and we’re bound to see a number of these trucks on the road as there’s a high demand for off-road vehicles, and having an affordable option is an excellent play by Ford.
