To put it bluntly, car sales are in the toilet. This has led to unpredicted deals from many manufacturers, and at-home delivery options. We’e already seen killer deals on Ford and Chevy performance cars, but Ford’s deals extend to key aftermarket companies. We already knew Ford Credit deals apply to Roush, but it’s caught our attention that it applies to Saleen as well.
Announced in a Facebook post, Saleen is offering 0% financing for 84 months. Better yet, if you purchase by the end of April, you won’t have a single payment for six months. Saleen says this is available on “many Saleen vehicles”, although no model or year specifics are given.
The current vehicle lineup consists of the Mustang S302, F-150 Sportruck and Sportruck XR. There’s also the slightly strange Tesla Model S GTX, but it won’t get these deals.
As always, there’s some catches. Saleen says not all customers will qualify, and not all regions will get the promotions. Check with your local Ford dealer to see if they are participating and you qualify.
Mustang tuning has long been a specialty of Saleen, now a company of over 35 years old. The S302 is based on the 2020 Ford Mustang, but features numerous modifications. The company is also invested in motorsports, and they love to talk about their vehicles having, “race proven performance for the streets”.
Whether the S302 conveys that is up for debate. The Mustang gets a 475 hp White Label configuration, or Black Label with an insane 800 hp. Saleen has overhauled the suspension system, too. The body work is also modified for altered styling and better aero.
With Saleen joining Roush in offering wild savings, it’s a tough choice between the two. The savings are identical, so it all comes down to which car and brand you prefer. No matter which, though, you are getting some unprecedented savings directly through Ford. And with spring here and summer coming, it’s a great time to take advantage of these promotions with the warm weather ahead.
