The S650 Ford Mustang is coming soon, marking the seventh-generation of an icon that started the pony car subsegment of the muscle car market. And the Mustang isn’t just a single car anymore. It’s a brand, that currently features two vehicles: the mighty coupe and the all-electric Mach-E SUV. And, from reports, it’s unlikely that Ford is going to stop there. Up next could be a Mustang sedan, which could perhaps compete for the same customer shopping for a Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S, or the upcoming Corvette electric sedan. But what would a Mustang sedan look like? Well, here’s one idea.
Sugarchow, also known as sugardesign_1 on Instagram has released his own renderings of what a true to life four-door Mustang sedan would look like.

Sugarchow seemingly took examples of the S650 and Stevens sketches to bring them to life, and it’s not disappointing. From afar, it looks like a bulky S650, and to the untrained eye, the rendering could be mistaken for a body kit. Upon a close second look though, the rear door becomes obvious. With Tesla-like door handles, the four-door Mustang maintains its aggressive look and character throughout the body that separate it from the Mustang Mach-E, which utilizes a button and a sort of wing-tip handle that’s unlike any other vehicle.
Think a Ford Mustang sedan isn’t going happen? Consider the official design sketch of a four-door Mustang from S650 exterior designer Christopher Stevens just below. Additionally, Ford Mustang sedan rumors can go back to 2020, but it’s possible the idea for a third Mustang vehicle could change its shape from something like a four-door sedan (which probably wouldn’t sell very well), to a two-door SUV of sorts. That’s what’s rumored for the Chevrolet Camaro, at least, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility to see the same from Ford.
