There Are A Few More Expressive Colors, Though

2024 Ford Mustang Color Options

We’re approaching the start of production for the 2024 Ford Mustang. That means people are preparing to place orders to build their dream Mustang. As part of this, prospective customers will want to know what colors are available. With 12 options to choose from, you might think that decision will be difficult, but most of them are shades of blue and gray.

What Are The 2024 Ford Mustang Colors?

Starting with the color palette’s blue side, customers can choose from Atlas Blue, Grabber Blue, Vapor Blue, and Blue Ember. Blue Ember may be the most interesting of these shades, exclusive for the Ford Mustang Dark Horse. Blue Ember metallic features unique effect pigments of deep blues infused with a warm amber hue, giving the exterior paint a dramatic color shift in different lights and angles. To develop Blue Ember, the Ford Color Mastering team intermixed complementary colors opposite each other on the color wheel. Special effect pigments were used in higher volume than other paints to enhance the color by reflecting light to create a striking amber highlight that looks different throughout the day.

As for the shades of Gray, we have Iconic Silver, Oxford White, Carbonized Gray, Dark Matter, and Shadow Black. That makes up the most significant chunk of color options for the 2024 Ford Mustang. The remaining colors include two red options; Rapid Red and Race Red; and Yellow Splash. If you’re looking for any other color options for the S650 Ford Mustang, you better prepare to get it painted or wrapped.

It’s unclear why Ford has focused the vast majority of 2024 Mustang color options on Blue and Gray variants; perhaps those are the most popular based on previous model year sales. However, considering its iridescent features, Blue Ember will likely be the most popular option for those purchasing the Dark Horse.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
