Summary
The Bronco Sport represents Ford’s entry into the C-Segment adventure utility vehicle space, and marks the creation of a Bronco brand. It’s smaller, and more economical than the Ford Bronco 2-Door and 4-Door flagship utility vehicles. The main competition of the Bronco Sport is the Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Renegade, Subaru Forester and Subaru Outback.
Design
The design of the Ford Bronco Sport exhibits a more rugged and adventure-ready look than most other C-segment utility vehicles, including its platform mate, the Ford Escape.
Platform
The First-Generation Bronco Sport utilizes the Ford C2 Platform along with the Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair.
