YOU COULD DESIGN THE NEXT JEEP EASTER EGG

The Winner Will Also Get A New Jeep As The Grand Prize

For almost 10 years, Jeep has been hiding special touches in their cars, known as Easter eggs. They started back with the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee headlights. Instead of plain silver headlight bulb shields, they had a tiny jeep grille on them. Fans loved the special touch, and the Jeep Easter egg was born. Recently, the JL Jeep Wrangler too it to a new level, with almost every part of the car containing some special touch. But Jeep is tired of making their own Easter eggs, and wants their dedicated fan-base to create one for a future Jeep vehicle. Better yet, Jeep is rewarding the winner of the contest with a brand new Jeep of their choice.

The contest begins right now, and closes on July 2. Contestants must be at least 18 years old to participate. All entries qualify for winning the free Jeep, although that Jeep has to be $50,000 or less. Still, that could get you into the new Jeep Gladiator Mojave.

Jeep has four main criteria for judging the contest. Firstly, it must be creative, as the rest of Jeep’s special touches are. It also must embody the Jeep Brand power and be worthy of sitting alongside other Jeep Easter eggs. Next, it must be presented clearly and understandably. Finally, it must be a completely original idea, meaning it can’t build upon any existing Easter egg. This needs to be entirely new.

Another interesting thing about this is that the Easter egg will go in an upcoming Jeep vehicle. Jeep doesn’t mention what it will be, and the next generation Jeep Grand Cherokee and Wagoneer are the only all new vehicles we know about right now. There’s also the Jeep Wrangler Mojave coming, but we get the feeling they want the Easter egg to go in a totally new product. Chances are, if the development cycle isn’t too far along, we will see the contest winner’s Easter egg in either the Grand Cherokee or Wagoneer.
