JOE BIDEN USED TO HAVE A CADILLAC ATS-V AND NOW IT’S FOR SALE

You Could Own The President’s Old Cadillac

Despite the Cadillac CTS-V being a more powerful sedan, the smaller size and lighter weight of the Cadillac ATS-V make it better suited to the tightness of an autocross course. That makes them a lot more fun to drive on curvy roads. But did you know that President Joe Biden used to own a 2018 Cadillac ATS-V saloon? If you’re in the market for something like that, his old car is currently up for grabs on Cars and Bids.

Joe Biden’s Cadillac ATS-V: Details

This ATS-V is made more unique with a Kona Brown theme, as it’s believed to be the only Cadillac ATS-V ever finished with it, as a specific request from Joe Biden himself. The cabin is also trimmed with Sapele wood and semi-aniline upholstery; what does that mean? We don’t know, but the interior certainly looks comfortable. The car’s exterior features an all-black body and lightly shadowed windows, leaving plenty of room for the bronzed Blackwing alloys to take center stage. The vehicle also features upgraded Rennick Performance attachments to the front and rear sections, while blacked-out emblems give the car a more menacing appearance.

As for the powertrain, the car features a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 that produces 464 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. All that power is sent to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. This car should give the BMW M3 and Mercedes-AMG C63 some competition, and if you’re not in the mood for listening to the car’s exhaust, you can always enjoy the car’s Bose surround sound system, which is always a plus.

The bids for the car will end in five days, with the highest bid as of the time of writing sitting at $38,000. So far, there have been 22 bids, which shows that some people are seriously interested in getting their hands on this car. It is still new, with less than 16,000 miles on the odometer.

Written by Zac Quinn

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
