Nearly ten years ago, Rezvani unveiled the original Beast supercar, a fully carbon-fiber-bodied speedster with 700 horsepower and the ability to accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 2.5 seconds. Rezvani has just unveiled a new Beast, though this one has more power and utilizes the C8 Corvette platform. Though it still accelerates from 0 to 60 in just 2.5 seconds, its good looks will surely draw a crowd. And, if you want, it can be bulletproof.
New Rezvani Beast: Details
The next-generation Rezvani Beast is a mid-engine C8 Corvette on Steroids. With exquisite attention to detail, this car’s proportions stand out as a true hypercar. We also can’t forget to mention the new rear end with stacked exhausts on each side, which is a nice touch. On the inside, the car retains much of its original Corvette look, though with a yoke steering wheel and bespoke upholstery.
As for the engine, the Rezvani Beast retains the Corvette’s 6.2-liter V8 engine, but with the assistance of turbochargers and other modifications, Rezvani has more than doubled its stock output to 1,000 ponies. When putting the car into “Beast Mode,” it can do a quarter mile in 9.6 seconds. Thanks to the lightweight carbon fiber body made with special high-temperature resins used in the latest generation of U.S. fighter jets like the F-35, the car’s weight is shaved to 2,980 pounds.
Unfortunately, the starting price for the car will hurt just about anyone’s bank account as it sits at $485,000. But if you want more, Rezvani has you covered, as the vehicle can be equipped with some optional packages. Want the car to have bulletproof glass and body panels? That’ll be an extra $55,000. Then a special secret agent treatment bumps the price by $45,000: the “007” package adds strobe lights, sirens and horns, an intercom, first aid and hypothermia kit, run-flat tires, gas masks, and a thermal night vision system. The package also equips the car with a pepper spray dispenser, smoke screen, electrified door handles, “blinding lights,” EMP pulse protection, magnetic deadbolts, and explosive device detection. In other words, this car is perfect for a world-class secret agent, on a mission during the apocalypse.
