Barrett-Jackson Auctions are the perfect place to find some highly collectible vehicles, and while they come at a hefty price. Car enthusiasts can’t get enough. While the Auction in Palm Beach has come to a close, the Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas Auction is coming in just a couple of months at the end of June and the beginning of July. June 30 to July 7, to be exact. There’s an exceptional vehicle heading onto the block for the upcoming event, KISS frontman Paul Stanley’s 2022 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Oh, and he’s throwing in one of his guitars.
Paul Stanley’s 2022 C8 Corvette Stingray
Stanley’s C8 Corvette Convertible is VIN 001 for the 2022 model year and features a Red Mist Metallic Tintcoat exterior finish. The roof is black, and the car also features the Z51 package and High Wing Spoiler. Making the exterior of Stanley’s 2022 Corvette stand out even more, is a set of yellow brake calipers. Thanks to the tan-colored leather that adorns the seats and parts of the dashboard, transmission tunnel, and door panels, the car’s interior is quite spectacular. Other areas of the cabin feature black leather with tan-colored contrast stitching making the inside of the car feel more luxurious with the contrasting lighter and darker tones.
The KISS frontman has been a fan of the Corvette for quite a while and even helped design a C7 Corvette Stingray back in 2014, which Chevrolet put on display at the 2014 SEMA Show. His first new car was a 1977 Corvette, and Stanley states that he took inspiration from some of his favorite European cars when speccing out his 2022 model.
Suppose the very special 2022 C8 Corvette Convertible owned by Paul Stanley isn’t enough for you. In that case, the KISS frontman is even throwing in an autographed Ibanez PS120 Paul Stanley Signature guitar that comes with the car. The Corvette is being sold at no reserve because he “couldn’t do it justice” as he is conscious of its pedigree and the fact that it’s VIN 001. Stanley hopes that somebody will get more out of the car than he can, be it a new addition to their collection or by driving it.
