NEW REZVANI TANK IS A JEEP-BASED DEMON SUV

This Super SUV Is The Power Move Of The Moment

Rezvani Tank

Rezvani Motors has been finding ways to stand out since it began. Started in Irvine, California by Ferris Rezvani, the boutique manufacturer has tried their hand at supercars, as well as extreme off-roaders. It is the latter product that Rezvani is most known for, specifically for the Rezvani Tank. The Wrangler-based survival machine is one of the most capable in the world, and is all new for the 2020 model year.

Rezvani will build three different models of the Tank for 2020, with the base model starting at $155,000, the Tank Military Edition coming it at $295,000, and the top of the line Tank X requiring an incredible $349,000 to get one out the door. Opt for the range topping model, and you’ll find the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine from a Dodge Demon under the hood, upgraded by Rezvani to produce over 1,000 horsepower and 870 pound-feet. Those figures allow Rezvani to claim that the 2020 Tank is the “most powerful production SUV in the world.”

Every 2020 Rezvani Tank is based on the new JL Jeep Wrangler, moving on from the previous JK Wrangler that has underpinned Tank’s of the past. Continuing the relationship with FCA, Rezvani will offer a number of different powertrains familiar to fans of the Jeep and Dodge brands.

The base model will be offered stateside with a naturally aspirated 3.6 liter V6 rated at 285 hp, a 6.4 liter hemi V8 that’s been massaged to produce 500 hp, and even a 3.0 liter diesel V6 that makes 285 hp. The JL Wrangler’s 285 horsepower 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine will be available in foreign markets as well.

The Tank Military Edition has fewer powertrain options, with the 6.4 liter V8 and the 3.0 liter diesel rounding out the standard kit, with the Demon-sourced 1,000-hp V8 found in the Tank X available as a whopping $149,000 option.

Every Rezvani tank model allows for seemingly endless customization, thanks to the brands extensive options list. These options aren’t just colored trim or an exhaust system either, rather a list of apocalypse thwarting equipment. We’ve listed a few of our favorites here:

Night vision system: $6,500
Upgraded off-road Fox suspension for $12,500
Dual battery setup: $2,500
Auxiliary gas tank: $7,500
EMP Protection: $2,500
Automatic side steps: $2,500
Interior lighting package: $2,500
Full leather interior with heated and cooled seats: $5,500
Focal sound system: $12,500
Side cameras: $850
Rolls Royce inspired starry headliner: $6,250

While the 2020 Rezvani Tank is a vehicle that is meant to outlive the fall of society, its passengers will be able to do so with some creature comforts. There is also something to be said about an SUV that can be purchased with a 1,000 horsepower blown V8 between the front fenders, though finding fuel for this thirsty beast might prove difficult during the end times.
