The day is just around the corner when the smell of freshly baked apple pie, turkey roasting in the oven, and the sounds of laughter fill households. Thanksgiving Day is coming, and with it, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. A hallmark for many homes to watch in the midst of concocting the delicious family feast that puts almost everyone in a food coma. The Parade is celebrating its 96th anniversary and warming the hearts of many for nearly a century; for eight consecutive years, the Ram Truck brand has continued its one-of-a-kind tradition as the Official Truck of the Thanksgiving Parade.

Ram Trucks And The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

In collaboration with Macy’s and the city of New York, Ram will be helping keep the iconic holiday tradition running smoothly with more than 30 trucks. The trucks will be taking the reins and towing all participating floats, including Santa’s Sleigh. This has undoubtedly helped vehicle sales over the years as millions get to see the beautiful design of these vehicles for hours on end.

Ram will not only be helping transport the floats down the Parade route, but as a brand truly Built to Serve, it will also be providing additional Ram trucks and ProMaster commercial vans to help with the behind-the-scenes functions leading up to the start of the procession. The Ram Thanksgiving trucks have a big job to do, but with how slow they go and their tow rating, they’ll do it with ease, as they have done for the past eight years.

The 96th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on November 24 on NBC, starting at 9 a.m. in all time zones. We’ll get to see the trucks pulling all sorts of floats, and if last year is anything to go by, Ram won’t be keeping any of their trucks from getting featured at the massive event.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
