ROADSTER SHOP IS KEEPING THINGS SIX FEET APART

Staying six feet apart has never been so fun

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to rage on here in the United States, social distancing measures remain important as we attempt to flatten the national curve. While it can be hard to isolate ourselves from those around us, the folks over at Roadster Shop have come up with a great way to blow off some steam. Or should we say smoke.

The Mundelein, Illinois-based shop recently posted a video to their Facebook page showing that donuts, specifically the rubber-melting variety, are totally safe to enjoy with friends as long as you follow some guidelines. The most important of which is of course staying six-feet apart, as demonstrated by some excellent tape measure work.

Roadster Shop specializes in creating chassis solutions for an entire range of old school muscle cars, trucks and off-road SUVs. You can throw all the go-fast parts at an old car that you want, but the chassis will always be an area that confines your vehicle’s performance. The Roadster Shop chassis are designed to bring the level of performance available from a classic vehicle more in line with what we expect today.

If pro touring muscle cars are your style, the company offers a range of performance-enhancing chassis components and kits for models like the Camaro, Corvette, Nova, Chevelle and of course the El-Camino, as shown in the video. On the truck side of things Roadster Shop can help with your Ford F100, Bronco and Chevrolet C10 needs. If you’re willing to fork over the cash, the shop can design and build a chassis for whatever car you bring to them, fully in house.

The situation that is going on with the coronavirus is difficult to deal with, but we are glad that there is some humor to be found in it. Good on the team over at Roadster Shop for putting this tire-destroying donut demonstration on for us all, because that’s some essential work if I’ve ever seen it.
