LET THE IMAGINATION RUN WILD WITH AN S650 MUSTANG RAPTOR R

Maybe Somebody Will Have One For SEMA 2023?

S650 Ford Mustang Raptor R

The S650 Ford Mustang is the ultimate iteration of the Mustang, with more power than ever and exquisite looks. On the opposite end of the spectrum, we have the F-150 Raptor R, the most potent and capable Raptor to date, capable of giving the Ram 1500 TRX a run for its money. Now, what if we combined the S650 Ford Mustang and the Raptor R to make an off-road Mustang? It certainly looks cool as rendering artist Oscar Vargas and the_xcalibur put together a rendering of this very creation for the 2022 SEMA Show.

S650 Ford Mustang Raptor R: Details

Starting at the front of the vehicle, the S650 Mustang Raptor R rendering features the iconic FORD lettering in the grille along with the Raptor R bumper, complete with the front skid plate and two tow hooks. A nice touch to the car’s front fascia is the hazard lights on the grille and front fenders. Even the headlights feature yellow hazard lights on the top, which completes the look. The hood is also different, blacked out with the critical scoop to help the two air intakes bring even more power to the engine.

The matte black makes its way to the car’s roof and then the trunk, which features a unique spoiler. The trunk also features the FORD lettering along with the Raptor R badge underneath. The rear bumper is complete with the vital tow hitch. Finally, of course, we can’t forget to mention the massive tires that complete the car’s look. They’re aggressive and, when coupled with the fender flares, take the entire vehicle to another level. It’s even been lifted.

While the S650 Mustang Raptor R is something that will never be made a reality, it’s something that would fit into the SEMA show perfectly. Someone may put something similar to this together as an aftermarket creation which would be neat to see—an off-road capable Ford Mustang competing against others off the beaten path. Better watch out, Bronco.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
