We recently took a look at the accessories offered by Ford for the 2024 Mustang, which had a few updates, but the majority of parts were shared with the previous S550 Mustang, stretching back to the 2015 model year. We suspected that would be the case for Ford Performance parts, as the seventh-generation Mustang is largely a top hat update. That means that, for one, if you have a modified S550 Mustang, some of those parts could bolt right up to this new muscle car. The second is that customers will immediately have access to a large infrastructure of aftermarket upgrades.
A few compatible things include a front wheel hub kit with ARP studs, a rear hub kit with ARP studs, some of the badges, a Mustang Half Shaft Upgrade Kit, an IRS Knuckle Kit with Toe Bearing, an Automatic IRS Pinion Flange, Performance Pack Rear Toe Link Kit, and a shifter kit.
Some S550 Mustang Shelby GT350 parts are also compatible with the S650 Mustang, which is fantastic.
