SPECIALTY VEHICLE ENGINEERING DEBUTS 2024 YENKO SILVERADO

Featuring A New Boost-By-Wire System

2024 SVE Yenko/SC Chevrolet Silverado

For another year, Specialty Vehicle Engineering has decided to create a batch of the legendary Yenko/SC Chevrolet Silverados, and just like last year, customers will get to choose from either a lowered version of the high-octane truck or an off-road version. Depending on whether they intend to stick to the pavement or compete against some Raptors and TRX supertrucks.

As with the previous years, the 2024 SVE Yenko/SC Chevrolet Silverado features either the 5.3L or 6.2L engines, which offer 700 horsepower and 800 HP, respectively. The lowered version of this epic truck is available on 2024 2WD or 4WD crew cab and double cab LT, LTZ, RST, and high country models with short or standard beds. As for the off-road version, that’s only available with, you guessed it, 4WD for the LTZ, RST, ZR2, and LT trail boss Z71 models with a 10-speed transmission, short bed, or standard bed.

Both trucks are now available with either 91 or 93-octane calibrations. On top of that, SVE has added a patent-pending boost-by-wire control system, which allows customers to have complete variable boost control. This system enables the driver to have the added displacement provided by a supercharger only when they want it, meaning if they don’t want maximum acceleration, it’s no longer a requirement. The system works based on how much the driver presses the accelerator pedal; the more they push the long pedal on the right, the more boost the supercharger will produce. This should make the vehicle more pleasant to drive.

As for availability, those interested in the 2024 SVE Yenko/SC Silverado have to act fast, as production is limited to just 50 of each truck. That means just 50 700HP and 800 HP Silverado Off-Road pickups will be built, and just 50 of each 700HP and 800HP lowered Silverado pickup trucks will be made. Of course, everyone will know you have something special thanks to exterior and interior design queues featuring Yenko’s name, which is more like a warning label than anything else.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
