Despite the Ford Bronco taking the spotlight of the off-road SUV world, the Chevy Blazer is still getting some love from customers and tuners alike. And no, not the new Blazer. We’re talking about this beautiful Ringbrothers K5 Blazer that was commission by a rapper who goes by the name of Future. You may have heard of him. He’s just taken delivery of his new restomod Blazer, and it’s truly incredible.

The SUV is started life as a humble 1971 K5 Chevrolet Blazer, and the team at Ringbrothers completely overhauled every component of the vehicle for Future. Ringbrothers doesn’t have an assembly line, so every modification is hand made. If you look at any of their past projects, such as the Mustang and Camaro from SEMA 2019, or the Copperback Mustang that recently sold on Bring a Trailer for $265,000, the quality is obvious.

Under the hood is a 430 hp LS3 mated to a 4L80-E automatic transmission and a Flowmaster exhaust. The body features a carbon fiber hood, and the paint is a custom BASF British Racing Green color. It looks more blue to our eyes, but is a beautiful shade nonetheless. It’s complimented by 18 inch, gold HRE wheels wrapped in massive BF Goodrich All Terrain knobby tires.

The custom Upholstery Unlimited tan leather interior also goes great with the exterior design. Ringbrothers have also given Future’s K5 Blazer a modernized dashboard with a touchscreen infotainment system, their custom gauge bezels and glovebox door, and a banging JL audio system the popular musician will surely appreciate. The custom tailgate has built in seating, and our favorite design detail of the build. If you look closely, the “R” in the middle of “Chevrolet” is actually the Ringbrothers logo.

Many of the components seen on this Blazer, such as the carbon hood, gauge bezels, glovebox, and hood hinges are available on Ringbrothers website. Even if you can’t afford a fully custom K5 Blazer, you can still upgrade your own with some Ringbrothers components.

Overall, this is a great Blazer restomod, and it’s great to see Ringbrothers getting some love in the celebrity and musician world.
