The award-winning 2022 Ford Maverick Tucci concept indeed turned several heads during the 2021 SEMA show. So much so that there seems to be a growing demand to recreate the concept for personal vehicles. Even so, if you’re a fan of the Tucci Maverick and missed it at SEMA, you may be able to catch it at car shows in the future since, it’s scheduled to go on tour before some of its kit is put up for sale for customers who appreciated the pocket rocket looks.

Tucci Ford Maverick May Not Just Be One Of A Kind

Dave Tucci, the owner of Tucci Hot Rods, told Fox News that he is talking to partners and exploring options to put parts into production, enabling people to transform their own Ford Maverick trucks into their own custom street rods. All of the parts on the Tucci Ford Maverick SEMA Concept, according to Dave, were made using a 3D printer.

Tucci says that there are around a half-dozen requests to build complete Ford Maverick builds, while the original truck itself will go on sale some 18 months from now.

The Tucci Hot Rods Ford Maverick is based on an XLT trim, featuring a 2.0-liter EcoBoost and all-wheel drive. Handling has been improved with the help of coil-over shocks, while a custom Borla cat-back exhaust with dual carbon fiber tips gives the vehicle a sportier sound and a more athletic aesthetic. Meaty tires on custom wheels flesh out the truck’s overall street-rod look. For their efforts, the 2022 Ford Maverick SEMA 2021 Concept received a best in show trophy from Ford Performance.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
