WANT A CORVETTE TRAILBOSS? NOW IS YOUR CHANCE

Why Get A Truck When You Can Get This?

C6 Corvette TrailBoss

It’s always interesting to see some creations people cook up in their garages, especially when it involves converting something into a totally unique contraption, like an off-road capable Dodge Challenger, but how about an off-road TrailBoss C6 Corvette? That’s precisely what someone decided to piece together, and if you *really* want it, it’s for sale on Facebook Marketplace for $33,000.

C6 Corvette “TrailBoss”: Details

Corvette Blogger discovered the C6 Corvette TrailBoss, and for the $33k price tag, you get a 6th generation Corvette with just 49,000 miles on the odometer. It features the LS3 along with a 6-speed manual transmission. But where the car truly stands out is the 4-inch lift supported by Fox Racing shocks. Most notable are the Toyo Open Country AT3 tires wrapped around Fuel Rebel wheels located on all four corners of the vehicle. The tires measure 33/12.5R20 at the back and 255/65R17 at the front.

That’s not all this C6 Corvette TrailBoss has going for it to make it spectacular off-road, as it also features a hidden winch routed through the front grill just in case the vehicle needs extra support through challenging obstacles. LED lights are mounted below the front valance, which helps illuminate the way while mudding once the sun sets. Another set of LEDs is located at the back of the car, adjacent to the backup lights. Additionally, the vehicle has suitable fender flares, which help complete the rugged off-road appearance of the sports car.

If you’re wondering if the C6 Corvette TrailBoss is capable of off-roading or if this was just for show, wonder no longer as the seller has a 20-minute YouTube video of the car making its way through the Badlands Off-Road park. With rear-wheel drive, the vehicle doesn’t stand a chance, but with 430 horsepower and the proper clearance and tires, the car powers through the terrain just like any other four-wheel drive vehicle would as it receives praise from onlookers.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
