Bronco Day has brought us all sorts of new off-roading goodies to ogle over, thanks to the number of new concept vehicles Ford has rolled out to celebrate the SUV’s 55th anniversary. While most of the SUVs highlight the hundreds of accessories that will be on sale alongside the new family of Ford vehicles, the 2021 Bronco Sport Badlands Off-Roadeo Adventure Patrol vehicle is a little different.

Included with the purchase of any full-size 2021 Ford Bronco or 2021 Bronco Sport Badlands Series is a two-day off-roading school known as the Off-Roadeo Adventures. Ford says that these events will offer excitement and learning opportunities for drivers with any level of off-roading or trail driving experience. Should participants be satisfied with their off-roading progress after the first day, Ford will also provide a number of outdoors adventures for their guests. The first Off-Roadeo location has been confirmed as Austin, Texas, with adventures starting sometime in summer of 2021.

This Bronco Sport Off-Roadeo Adventure Patrol is an example of what the Ford Team will be using as a recovery vehicle during the events. Built to assist in typical off-roading situations, this range-topping Badlands Series model has been fitted with some welcomed accessories. A Yakima LockNLoad Cargo Platform has been bolted up for carrying a high-lift jack, recovery boards, and even fuel cans for the trip. A Ford Performance by RIGID off-road LED lightbar is mounted to the rack as well, which ensures no repairs will ever need to take place in the dark. Inside, Ford has fitted a Yakima interior bike rack for the aforementioned non-wheeling related outdoor adventures.

Perhaps best of all though is the target placed atop the SUV’s hood, which will assist a drone operator in landing their equipment after recording the day’s fun for the customers. A small touch and definitely a gimmick, but one that shows Ford has thought this SUV out.

Whereas the other Bronco Day concept vehicles exclusively serve to highlight the accessories catalogue, the Bronco Sport Off-Roadeo Adventure Patrol is a truck we’ll see for some time to come. For that reason, it may not be much of a concept SUV at all.
