Now that the 2021 Ford F-150 has been on the market a little while, the modification scene for the newest generation Ford pickup is really taking off. And one of the best upgrades you can make for any vehicle is a new exhaust system. While performance gains from better flow and less weight are marginal at best, a new exhaust can transform the driving experience from mundane to exciting just on a trip to the grocery store. MBRP’s new cat back exhaust offering for the 2021 Ford F-150 looks and sounds like it’ll be one of the best.

The system is very versatile, as it works with any engine but the PowerBoost hybrid. This means the exhaust is fair game whether you have a 2.7 liter or 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6, or the 5.0 liter Coyote V8. It uses a single, high flow muffler and four inch tubing throughout, ending in a five inch side exit exhaust tip. Better yet, MBRP have given us a video to see what the exhaust sounds like on the move.

As you noticed, MBRP only has a video of their 2021 Ford F-150 exhaust on the EcoBoost engine. They also don’t specify whether they are using the 2.7 or 3.5, but we are willing to bet its the larger motor. And although we’d certainly like to hear the Coyote V8, there’s no denying the EcoBoost sounds pretty nice with the right mods. The sound is definitely louder than stock, but isn’t obnoxious to our ears. The website does say the system is much louder with the V8, however.

The MBRP 2021 Ford F-150 exhaust comes in four varieties. The cheapest is an aluminized steel, at $518.81. As you upgrade the metal, the price goes up accordingly. There’s a T409 stainless steel system for $648.52, a T304 stainless steel for $926.46 and a black coated aluminized steel which also costs $926.46. Each of these MBRP F-150 exhausts systems seem like a great way to get a little more enjoyment out of your new Ford truck.
