The 2021 Ram TRX is undeniably the most extreme truck ever made. With a 702 hp Hellcat V8 and numerous off-road features to make it a formidable desert runner, there’s little room to better the recipe with aftermarket parts. But FCA knows some of their customers will want to personalize and improve their trucks with some modifications, so the FCA is offering over 100 Ram TRX Mopar accessories out of the gate.
FCA says they will reveal the full list of Mopar accessories closer to launch, with is slated for early Q4 2020. Still, the announced accessories already sound great. A range of off-road lights will be available to help illuminate the desert or trial. The TRX will also follow in the footsteps of the Ford Bronco by offering optional beadlock capable wheels and wheel rings. Additional off-road performance accessories include rock rails and a bed spare tire carrier. You can also option the RamBar in the tailgate, which serves as a mounting point for future accessories.
Best of all, these Ram TRX Mopar accessories come backed by a full factory warranty. If you go to another brand, you risk voiding the warranty of the truck. Mopar’s parts all fall into the TRX’s impressive five-year/60,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty that covers all engine, transmission, and drivetrain components, and three-year/36,000-mile Basic Limited Warranty which is your standard bumper to bumper warranty.
Being FCA’s parts division, Mopar gets factory-exclusive data that third party aftermarket brands don’t have access to. FCA says this allows Mopar to “deliver proper fit, finish and quality right down to the color, grain, and appearance of each product.”
Even though we don’t have the full range of Mopar accessories, they already sound like a great way for owners to make their Ram TRX’s uniquely theirs and improve performance in many categories, all without worrying about a voided warranty.
We hope to divulge into the Mopar catalog of the TRX soon. Unfortunately, it just won’t be at the 2020 SEMA Show.
