Just like the Jeep Wrangler has offered for years, the Ford Bronco launched with a multitude of unique, eye catching and interesting colors. From bright hues like Race Red and Cyber Orange, to cool stealthy shades like Area 51 and Cactus Gray, it’s safe to say people are happy with the color choices. But despite their success, the color palette of the 2021 Ford Bronco will only be around for that year, as the Ford’s North American Communications Director Mike Levine confirmed on Twitter that the 2022 model year Bronco will get a different range of colors.
The Tweet was a reply to a future Ford Bronco owner who believes his reservation number could bump him to 2022, and wondered if he would lose out on Cyber Orange if he missed the 2021 model. Levine said Cyber Orange may not be around in 2022 model year, but that any colors leaving the lineup will be replaced by something new. Finally, he said the 2022 Bronco will definitely get new colors.
Not sure if Cyber Orange will still be available for MY22. New colors come in when others go and there are new colors coming in 2022.

We already knew Lighting Blue would be a single year special. The bright metallic blue is only available on the limited-run First Edition Bronco, which as the name suggests, will only be around during the first year of production. Now, signs point to Cyber Orange following the same path. Gold tinted orange color has been on Mustang models in the past, and is usually offered to kick off a new model. Cyber Orange is available on the 2021 Ford Bronco, Bronco Sport and Mustang Mach-E, and Levine’s tweet hints it may just be around to celebrate the launch year of these exciting new Ford offerings.
What might change in the Ford Bronco color palette from 2021 to 2022? It’s hard to say for sure, but with an orange possibly leaving, that could leave room for a new orange or a yellow. The Mustang’s Twister Orange could be a suitable replacement. Some retro colors could also make an appearance, as the 2022 Ford Bronco will see a Heritage Edition join the lineup. A subtle green of some sort could work well here, especially when green isn’t offered on the Bronco at all right now, but was teased on the Bronco Filson Concept. In 2022, the Bronco Warthog will also be added to the lineup, so expect this model to also introduce some new colors to the range. Based on the name that harkens the infantry squad vehicle from Halo, an army tan or green could be a perfect candidate.

Lighting blue is the FE color, not velocity blue.
Please, Ford, offer us a Desert Tan or Olive Drab color. Nothing says “rugged outdoors”
like military appearing vehicles.
I couldn’t agree more. In fact, I put off buying this year just to see what new colors were offered in 2022
So much yes!! Olive drab!! I agree with Dave and wish SO had that was an option for my bronco!
