2023 FORD BRONCO ORDERS MADE PRIORITY TO EXISTING RESERVATION HOLDERS

Retail Orders Will Not Open Until Next Year

The Ford Bronco debuted a full two years ago, and customers were quickly able to reserve one for just $100 USD. However, some of those exiting reservations have yet to be fulfilled. And just days before the 2023 Ford Bronco order books were expected to open, the Ford Motor Company has confirmed that it will not allow retail orders for new customers until next year. This came with the announcement of the new 2023 Bronco Heritage Edition, which will be exclusive to reservation holders until the new calendar year. Ford has also given priority of the 2022 Bronco Everglades and 2022 Bronco Raptor to reservation holders, as well.

The news doesn’t mean you can’t ever own a 2023 Ford Bronco however. Per the Bronco6G forum, order books will only open for those with an existing reservation or for those that are current order holders. A memo sent to Ford dealers suggests that the automaker will deliver further guidance on 2023 Bronco retail orders in Q4, 2022. Ford recommends customers select from the limited quantities available on dealership lots in the meantime. Any Bronco customer orders not scheduled to be built for the 2022 model year will have the opportunity to convert to the 2023 model year on September 12th.

The 2023 Bronco also brings forth a new Heritage model that will consist of two and four door models and two unique paint schemes paying homage to the original model from 1966. The 2023 Bronco Sport will also receive heritage treatment. A more premium Heritage Limited will be offered on both models. Just 1,966 units of each Heritage trim will be built.

  1. I ordered a 2021 first edition top of the line. Fords telling me now I have to order the 2023. Really. Here’s the list of excuses: tires, tow hitch, hardtop, shocks, chips. Here’s the truth, as fr as I am concerned, someone sold my truck when it arrived.

  2. It’s not your car and it’s a $100 reservation. You are not guaranteed to get what you want. Sound like a spoiled chap mate. Of course you won’t get a first edition… it’s model year 2023.
