2024 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER PRICE IS A BARGAIN COMPARED TO THE OLD ONE

Starting A Full $27,545 Less Than The Previous Generation

2024 Toyota Land Cruiser

Toyota is returning the Land Cruiser to its roots and stepping away from the luxury soccer mom-car disposition. That means it’s smaller, more affordable, and designed to be used off-road and not driving kids around through neighborhoods or to local malls. That’s why it is no surprise to anyone that the SUV sold out in Germany in just 30 minutes and will likely retain this immense success worldwide. Now, for those looking to get their hands on the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser, be ready to shell out at least $57,445 as Toyota has recently announced that that will be the base price for the legendary nameplate. Granted, it ain’t the same, but with everything getting more expensive these days, it’s nice to see a change of pace.

2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Pricing: Details

The base price includes the $1,495 destination charge. So, if you plan on getting the 1958 Model 2024 Land Cruiser, $57,445 is what you should expect to pay as a minimum. As for the slightly confusing name, the Land Cruiser first debuted in the U.S. in 1958, so Toyota gave the 2024 Cruiser that trim name. If you want to go a step further, you can purchase the mid-spec Land Cruiser, which starts at $63,445. As for the top-of-the-line Land Cruiser First Edition, that comes in at $76,445, though for that price, you’ll probably get every goodie Toyota has to offer for the Land Cruiser.

When comparing the starting price of the 2024 Land Cruiser, also known as the 250 Series, it’s clear there’s a considerable decrease, which is good; not many people wanted to take a brand-new SUV that starts at $85,000 up a mountain to potentially receive scrapes and dents plus, you know, mom car. Every 2024 Land Cruiser is a hybrid, featuring a 2.3-liter turbo-4 engine paired with a 48-hp electric motor. All of this is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission that sens 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque to the wheels.

Each 250 Series Land Cruiser features full-time four-wheel drive with a 2-speed electronically shifted transfer case, a locking rear differential, and a Torsen limited-slip center differential with manual locking capability standard. One can compare this price to the 2024 Lexus GX, which is similar in size to the Land Cruiser and shares the same mission. However, since Lexus is Toyota’s luxury brand, the vehicle has some more luxurious features and a standard twin-turbo V6 rated at 349 horsepower, bringing the total starting cost of $64,250. Again, when comparing the new price to the old 200 Series, the future looks bright for Land Cruiser fans.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
