Callaway Cars – long at the forefront of making fast GM cars even faster – has something powerful for the company’s highly-desirable trucks and and SUV products. This week, Callaway has announced a GenThree supercharger upgrade for the Chevrolet Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Sierra and Yukon family, as well as the mighty Cadillac Escalade.

Callaway Supercharger Upgrade For GM Trucks/SUVs: Details

Utilizing service-proven, large displacement Eaton TVS rotor pack assemblies, complemented with Callaway’s proprietary supercharger housing and highly efficient TripleCooled intercooling system. Callaway standard equipment also includes intake and exhaust systems designed to support the increased inlet air and exhaust gas flow demands of the supercharged engines. The result is a total output of 520 horsepower for 5.3L L84 V8 models and 602 HP for GM trucks and SUVs equipped with the 6.2L L87 V8.

Observing Callaway’s signature approach, these juiced-up GMs will also be equipped with tasteful aesthetic upgrades. Standard equipment includes Callaway Badging, interior and exterior, Callaway Carbon Mid-Engine covers, Anodized Door Sill Inserts, Key Medallions, and an Authenticity Documentation Package certifying that your Callaway is genuine. A host of performance and appearance options will also be available to personalize the vehicle.

The vehicles will come with Callaway’s 3 Year/36,000 Mile Limited Warranty which supplements the factory GM warranties, something no other aftermarket company can match. An optional 5 Year/60,000 Mile Powertrain Service Contract is also available. New Callaway SUVs and trucks are sold and serviced by Callaway-authorized Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac dealers across North America.

After GM vehicles are produced at their assembly plants, General Motors delivers them to Callaway factories in either California or Connecticut, depending on the location of the customer, where the new equipment is installed according to exact Callaway engineering specifications. Then the vehicles are shipped to the selling dealer, or the new owner can take delivery at the factory if they opt for it. Additionally, the completed vehicle can be sent directly to the new owner’s requested location.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
