CHEVROLET CAMARO THINKS IT’S A TRUCK, SOMEHOW USES TWO TRAILERS TO PULL ONE JET SKI

Who Needs A Truck After All?

We love our pickup trucks here in the United States. The promise of unrivaled capability and utility speaks to American buyers, and manages to convince many people that they can’t live without a pickup. Of course we all know that most trucks on the road today are hardly used as advertised, save for a semi-annual trip to Home Depot. And while we won’t say that pickups aren’t a great vehicle to drive everyday, many tasks can surely be accomplished by smaller and less expensive vehicles. In fact, at least one watercraft enthusiast has just proven that you don’t even need a pickup truck to haul around your Jet Ski. Instead, you can simply outfit your Chevrolet Camaro with an ingenious muscle car compatible trailer set-up.

The Chevrolet Camaro is not known as a utility vehicle. That is of course for good reason, as the two-door muscle car is much better at hauling ass than it is at hauling just about anything else. That said, the owner of this particular fifth-gen Chevrolet Camaro convertible has proven once again that when there is a will, there is a way. With a jet-ski trailer affixed to the top of a standard trailer, the drop-top muscle car is able to slink down the boat ramp with ease. The back wheels may be touching the water, but the car doesn’t appear to be in any real danger. It likely helps that the owner appears to be a certified pro, as he easily slides the watercraft onto the trailer before departing with just a touch of wheelspin. I’m willing to bet you haven’t seen this down at your local marina before.

While we probably wouldn’t suggest that you all go and create your own double trailer set-up, we can’t help but commend the driver in the clip. Somebody in his life surely told him he would have to ditch the Camaro in order to enjoy his aquatic vehicle, but they were wrong indeed. And while a pickup does make this sort of activity a breeze, it isn’t always necessary. Keep that in mind next time a loved one wants to buy a truck to haul three bags of grass seed.
