We’ve seen a few renderings over the past couple of months regarding a recreation of the GMC Jimmy from Flat Out Autos. While we’ve known the vehicle has been in the works with plans to make an appearance at SEMA 2022. It seems that the first example of the Flat Out Autos GMC Jimmy based on a single-cab GMC Sierra is finally complete, as they just released a video on their Instagram showcasing the truck with the shell removed and attached to the vehicle.

Flat Out Autos GMC Jimmy Conversion: Details
Flat Out Autos also revealed on social media that fans would be able to stop by and see the 2022 GMC Jimmy conversion in person at the SEMA show in Las Vegas in a few weeks. They will have 20 build slots available for 2023, which we imagine will get reserved rather quickly. The truck itself, as seen in the video, looks like it came straight from the factory, everything looks seamlessly put together, and the wheels and beefy tires are a nice touch to add further aggression to the conversion.

Unfortunately, those that wish to get their hands on one of the GMC Jimmy Conversions will have to pay a hefty price. But that’s expected when it comes to a custom-built vehicle such as this one. Customers can expect to pay around $120,000 USD for the truck. The GMC Jimmy Build will be based on the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado platform. It will also be offered in Heavy Duty with a Duramax engine.
Flat Out Autos won’t modify the vehicles’ software; instead, they adapt the cars to incorporate all of the existing sensors and safety features, so none of the modern features people have come to love in their newer cars will be lost from the conversion. Additionally, customers can opt to have some options equipped for their GMC Jimmy builds, including lifts and an optional supercharger for the 5.3-liter V8 engine, because additional power is always a good thing.
