It wasn’t too long ago that Ford announced that it would be unveiling the Black Appearance Package for the Ford Bronco Raptor following hosting its own viewing party for the recent Eclipse that just happened. While the package lacks some lunar themes, it was the perfect chance to unveil something like this for added promotion.
Ford Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package: Details
The Ford Bronco Raptor Black Appearance Package comes in at a hefty $4,995, and for that price, customers are getting a glossy black roof with matching mirror caps, gloss black fender flares, and a glossy blacked-out roll bar. Adding to the black appearance, the steel bumper, skid plate, and tow hooks have been given a share of Matte Black. There are also package-specific decals for the hoody and body to finish off the outfit and give the vehicle a unique appearance outside of the typical Raptor styling.
But, for a price tag of $4,995 on top of an already expensive SUV setting back customers around $91,930 (including destination) is it worth it? That brings the total cost of purchasing a Bronco Raptor with the blackout package to $95,925, which is nearly reaching the six-figure mark. Add additional fees from the dealership, and you’re paying a hefty chunk of money for a brand-new Bronco Raptor.
The Ford Bronco Raptor is a pretty special vehicle for customers to get their hands on, and that is very clear. Add the Black Appearance package, and you’ll be looking at something even more unique. However, with Bronco sales dipping by 25 percent while the competition (Jeep Wrangler) sees an increase in sales, we can’t help but wonder if Ford has any plans to bring the package to other trims; it might just help boost sales. Though, since it’s currently exclusive to the Raptor, it’ll be a pretty rare thing to find.
