A Ford Bronco Heritage Edition is expected for the 2023 model year, that much is clear. But nobody really expected the same treatment to trickle down to the Bronco Sport. However, discovery by the Bronco Sport Forum through the 2023 VIN Decoder from Ford shows that the Heritage trim will be available for the smaller Bronco.

2023 Ford Bronco Sport Heritage Edition: Details

Details suggest the 2023 Bronco Heritage Edition will feature four-slot wheels, a modernized take on the original 1966 model. The wheels may even be painted white, which would be unique to the entire automotive landscape, at least from a factory product. The Edition is also expected to feature a white grille as teased by a special throwback Bronco concept for the SUV’s debut during summer 2020. We can expect to see the Heritage Edition featuring special paint that would also help give a more retro feel to the vehicle. Such design cues are expected for the larger Bronco in any case.

2023 Ford Bronco Sport Heritage Edition

A Ford Bronco Sport Heritage Edition wasn’t expected since there wasn’t a tiny Bronco back in the day. However, perhaps the SUV will feature some old-school cues, including unique wheels, exterior paint color, and other little things to help set it apart. We can see that the trim comes in above the Wildtrak, and there is also a Heritage Limited trim. For the full-size Bronco, we expected the Heritage Limited to be some form of the First Edition where absolutely every box is checked for the optional features on the SUV. The same might be said for the Bronco Sport, where customers opting for this trim will get everything they wish for.

We’ll have to wait and see what Ford has planned when they open up the order books for the 2023 model year of the Ford Bronco and Bronco Sport to know for sure. But since we know the Bronco Sport has been a very successful vehicle for Ford, surpassing its Ford Escape sibling in sales. A Heritage Edition with unique design queues and paint could be a popular option amongst customers.

Zac's love for cars started at a young age, after seeing the popular Eleanor from Gone In 60 Seconds. From there, fascination and enthusiasm blossomed and to this day the Ford Mustang remains a favorite. His first job started out detailing cars, but also provided the opportunity to work on restoration including an 1968 Ford Mustang, Pontiac Firebird, and a C3 Corvette, though he left that job before further work and experience could be had. From there, he was a detailer at a car dealership before quitting that job to try and finish college.

Much of his free time while studying was spent watching YouTube videos regarding new cars, or off-roading. 4WD247 is a personal favorite channel which rekindled a dying flame in car enthusiasm, now tailored towards trucks and SUVs and the fun that can be had building up an overlanding rig, and going on adventures, though, that chapter remains unwritten for the time being.
